Terms of Use — Coparent Ally
Last updated: 28 September 2026
The licence
Coparent Ally is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. There are no other terms. What follows explains what the app is and is not, so there are no surprises.
What the app is, and what it is not
- It keeps a record you make. The schedule, messages, expenses, payments, notes and check-ins are what you and the other parent enter. Each entry is signed by the iPhone that wrote it, so a later change to it shows.
- It is not legal advice, and not a lawyer, a mediator, a court or an agency. It is not affiliated with any court. Talk to a lawyer about your own situation.
- It does not promise that a court will accept a record. Courts decide what they accept. A report shows what each parent entered and when; it is not a finding that what they entered is true.
- It never moves money. Payments are recorded, not made: pay however you already pay.
- Record lawfully and respectfully. Don't use the app to harass or threaten the other parent, and don't record anything the law where you live forbids you to record.
Your data
There is no account with us and no server of ours. Your record is kept on your iPhone and in your own iCloud, and we cannot see it, change it or hand it to anyone. Keep your own backups and exports; the privacy policy explains where everything is kept.
Pro
Pro is sold by Apple through the App Store: a yearly subscription that renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the year ends, or a one-time purchase that never renews. One purchase covers both parents. Cancel in the Settings app, under your name, then Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Your record, your backups and a full copy of your data are never behind Pro.
